Yup, we're still here and still waiting. Everything's been going great at the doctor's office, and we have no idea when the baby will finally come, so don't ask or try to analyze =) But if you want to place bets: There's a low pressure system moving in this weekend, our favorite doctor is on call on Tuesday, our due date is March 30th, and the doctor said that on average first babies come 3-4 days after the due date.
I've taken the last few days off of school, not because I have a "feeling," but because in order for me to get some things checked off the list (packing the suitcase, getting the nursery ready, moving into our remodeled basement (!), making meals with enough leftovers to freeze, etc), I have to focus on being at home and not being distracted with the infinite list that research generates.
We got our carpet installed last week, which makes the house feel like a totally new house. Then this past weekend we worked on installing trim and moving into the basement.
On a different note, we will be trying to update the blog or sending out the appropriate email once the baby comes. We do ask, however, that you let us share the photos of the baby. Please, take pictures of the baby when you visit, and take pictures of yourselves holding the baby, etc. But only share it with your friends and family in person, not through facebook, or your own blog.
